Our "MOTOR BITS" lineup starts with the 2-3/4” size which features a very strong 3-wing design and 1” AMMT thread. This bit is designed for use with 1-11/16” drilling motors. The 1-11/16” motor is very popular for use in the production of COAL BED METHANE (CBM). The use of our 2-3/4” “MOTOR BIT” results in faster rock penetration rates. Unlike most other bits available in this size, our MOTOR BITS feature premium PDCcutters and have no moving parts. As such they can be operated at much higher rotation speeds for maximum drilling performance.
