SEISMIC RANGER
incorporates features necessary for the high speed drilling
and maneuverability required for seismic drilling. The
SEISMIC RANGER
is equipped with a powerful hydraulic rotary drillhead with
built-in air/water swivel and shock cushion for effective
drilling with DTH hammers. The drill head features
infinitely variable rotation speeds and a full 10 ft.
travel. Down pressure and lifting capabilities are provided
by a powerful 8,000 lb. hydraulic winch equipped with strong
3/8" wire cable.
The
SEISMIC RANGER
is complete with a diesel-powered air compressor developing
210 CFM @ 150 PSI
and a hydraulically operated structural steel mast. The
entire assembly is mounted on a rubber-tracked all-terrain
vehicle capable of speeds up to 15 MPH complete with
operator safety features including back-up alarm, lights,
emergency shut-down switch and fire extinguisher.
